Shiva, commonly known as the destroyer. However, conventionally, destruction is linked with the breakdown of things, with rage and anger. But this deity is calm and composed, lost in his own world. How can he be a destroyer when he is so withdrawn?
The problem lies with our understanding of destruction. Sacred scriptures tell us repeatedly that he is the destroyer of Kama, Yama and Tripura, which is the destroyer of desire, death and three worlds. What does that mean? We will explore the world of Shiva in the Deities and Yogasana workshop this weekend. Namaste.

然而Shiva又稱為是 the God of destroyer 也就是毀滅之神。
